Lunchtime park trip

Amy and the girls picked me up on my lunch the other day and we went to Pioneer park... it was awesome. The girls are getting so brave on the toys. They go down the slides with no hesitation now. It was the best lunchtime!

Graces feet get caught at the top of the tube slide and she always flips and lands on her head then cries the whole way down.

very competent Grace

Action running shot.

Action sliding shot.

I just love how Gracie looks at Esther.

The three lovely ladies...thanks for the wonderful lunch date!!!

Christmas @ Centralia

Grammie in her goofie Christmas hat... she is the only one that actually kept it on. We were all supposed to wear them (we aren't sure why)... It is fun I suppose.

Ethan still has a bit of those baby cheeks.

Must have had a nasal itch.

Action shot of Ethan trying to figure out how to shoot the rocket off in the house...

Is that princess Cinderella!?! She sure thinks so.

Esther and Ethan really REALLY enjoyed the little picnic table.

Gracie enjoying the floor and a book... It is like she switched on a reading interest all the sudden. She loves books now.

christmas @ Wenatchee

Gracie & Ethan chillin' on Brutas next to Grammie.

Grammie and Ethan snugglin'

This was our famlies first time meeting little Noah the newest cousin. We loved it! or we loved him! Esther loved getting a chance to hold him.

It was great to see Ethan play so well with the girls. Sometimes I wish we were all closer so the kiddo's could grow up around each other.

Sometimes they would be hammin' it up all doing the same thing...like this... everyone roll around on the ground.

All playing with the dollhouse upstairs...I was lucky to sneak this shot.

Christmas @ Home

Esther combining their blocks and their nativity set... It's her "prince" in his "castle"

Gracie really takes a lot of focus to get the train back on the tracks. It doesn't take long for her to get frustrated and resort to "helmp eeee".

Esther busting into their blocks... Gracie enjoying their new train.

I love how Gracie looks at Esther all the time. She seems to look up to her.

We bought Grace a book that works on colors. Because right now if you were to ask Grace the color of anything it would be "pintk". Everything is pink! Hope that a few times through this book might help... time will tell.

Esther's new book. It is about the gift of a first kiss and saving it for the one that she marries. Cute story with good message...great illustrations.

tearing into their first presents...

Night photography

I was trying to figure out some of the night photography stuff on our camera. both of these are 20 second exposures.

You can see lights on a house on the right center of the picture... That lump is the girls wagon that we took them for a walk in the night before!

Snow

The pictures did not go in the order I wanted them to be in...oh well. I am not redoing it!

This is about half of the snow that we ended up getting... it was nuts.

Esther would walk in the trails that I shoveled for them and pat her hand on the top of the snow saying "Papa I want to walk on the top". I tried to tell her that she would sink... She would just repeating herself...so we gave it a shot.

Esther gettin' those crazy eyes

All shovel and no play makes ike a dull boy.

I just love this smile.
