Grace around the house and our day out and about

It is fun how much a couple of weeks will make in the life and awareness of a kiddo! Gracie looks around soo much now, taking it all in!

This is going to be the new face added on the next "freemans" t-shirt.

A big yawn by the little chunk!

So today we went out past the town of Sandy to look at a house we saw online for fun! It is awesome out here, so pretty and quiet...no sirens!!! (Esther is "smiling)

The Sandy river runs right behind the house we were looking at...well a little walk, not right behind it.

Here is Esther and the Sandy River, she really enjoyed looking at the river, she was amazed and only wanted to get closer...cringe!

Amy took this picture from the parking lot while she was feeding Grace... We then ate at this great little restaurant...can't remember the name...it was awesome!

Here is the house we looked at, very cute...and you can't here traffic or sirens!!

Esther had blueberry pancakes this morning...and she got a little on her face. We just thought it was so cute...she really likes her pancakes!

So Esther discovered that she can control her BM's (bowel movements)!! She has done great for the most part with the potty training when it comes to pee'ing, but the poo's are another story. This morning she was walking funny which normally implies that she poo'd her pants...but she didn't she walked funny into the bathroom and I helped her take her pants down and she poo'd on the potty...hence the picture of the "Big Girl panties!".

sorry the pictures are getting blurrier...our camera is dying :(

Just some pic's

Sitting around watching "Cars".

Portland Swap-Meet with Pops!

Riding the max on the way back to Lloyd Center...because it is "quicker" and "free"...riiight...oops!

Just figured I would take this one for Amy since she likes these cars...obviously has never owned one!

Easter...again...already!?

So it seems to me like Easter was just here and I ate my self sick on 5 packs of Peeps... Well here it is again and we are one more person strong as a family. What a great way to celebrate the one who gives us life, Jesus, with a new life, Gracie.

It is a little blurry but Esther is giving Gracie Ann some Easter lovin'.

This picture kind of made it hit me that I am in a house filled with women...or at least they will be women...I'm in for it! Hopefully we are around all of the boy cousins enough so I can get some rough-housing in!

Isn't she looking beautiful...especially for giving birth only a few days ago!

Gracie Ann in her Easter dress, looking cuter than ever!

Esther also looking very beautiful in her Easter dress!

I love this one, Esther has a "Mater" look on her face. (the Tow truck from the movie "Cars")

Esther loved her gift from Grandpa and Grammie Freeman. She is going to love playing with those sand toys when we go to the beach this summer!!

Gracie...day #6

She does a lot of this. It is amazing how different she is from Esther, not better, not worse just different. She poops different, sleeps different, cries different. I was expecting an Esther duplicate...knowing that isn't what would happen. It's just odd to see Gracie finally outside of Amy's womb...it's incredible!

Gracie back for more tests...Esther and Papa play!

We had fun running around outside while we wait for Mamma, Gracie and Grammie

Here is Esther again "smiling"...I thought it was a super cute picture!

Hanging out at home for the first time!

Gracie getting used to the house...

Amy and Gracie enjoying being face to face at home...and out of the hospital!

Going home!

All loaded up and ready to bring our little one home. Couldn't have asked for a nicer day - sunny!

Last day at the hospital...family comes over!

Grandpa Steve and Grammie Barb visiting with Gracie Ann before we head back home to Rockwood.

Esther doesn't seem to be too sure about what she sees. It is like she just had the realization that we are keeping this one unlike baby Ethan who doesn't come home with us.

Here we are watching Cars while we wait around the hospital...doing nothing...just waiting...and waiting...and waiting!

I just love her cute little button nose. She seems to look a lot like Esther as a baby...except her nose is a little shorter. So precious!

Auntie Elaine and cousin Jared stopped by for a visit...drove all the way from Shelton Washington.

Cousin Jared being a super sweet cousin holding Gracie.

Uncle BJ and cousin Jesse aka "Bubba"

The entire Kuykendahl family all bundled together with Gracie Ann.

I tried to re-work the photo that I took with Esther...not quite the same...oh well!

Too bad this one is a little blurry...It's so cute!

And then there were 4!

Well at 11:30 on Monday night Amy's "water" broke and we headed off to the hospital...Once Joanne got to our place to watch after Esther for us (bless her heart!)

We didn't even plan to match with the orange...it just happened. We had to park way away from the emergency room entrance because they are doing all sorts of construction...and it felt like 0 degrees outside!

Here is the soon to be un-pregnant mama "vouge-ing" for the camera! Feeling pretty good as of now...contractions arn't too brutal!

This is me threatening to touch the "steril" items...I think I was just going stir-crazy!

I know it looks a little nasty...but here is Gracie only seconds old still attached via the cord! She sure had a freeky cone head from that delivery. It all went well, Amy got an epidural and did great! It did hurt for her a bit though! I couldn't imagine...thankfully!

Check out that freak head...crazy how it works out...God's pretty amazing on how it all goes! She looks like a character from Star Wars or something...

Amy sure has some georgous eyes! I hope all my girls get them! Gracie is looking a little swollen up...like she is a boxer. Oh she is 8 pounds 2 ounces by the way...a pound bigger than Esther was!! But she is a half inch shorter!

Esther getting to meet Gracie for one of the first times. She did great and was very happy to meet her new little sister. I would ask her "where is Gracie" and she would point to baby Gracie rather than Amy's tummy like she used too!

The very blessed Papa!

The little chunk in most of her glory...she is as think as a kuykendahl boy!
I had the honor of giving her the first bath!

Our nurse was awesome!!!

And here she is in all her glory!!
I'll post the side by side comparison of her and Esther soon...they sure looked a lot alike!!

Her cheeks are bigger for sure...on both ends!

She has smiled a few times for mamma...this is the tail end of one of them!
